Jose M. Garcia, MD

Dr. Garcia attended Medical School at Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas in Santiago de Cuba. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. Dr. Garcia has professional affiliations with the Cuban Association of Urology. In 1998, he was nominated by the National Public Health Department’s Annual Award for Best Scientific Work. He is certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Practice.

 Zoilamis Gutierrez-Candelario, APRN-C is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in health and medical care. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Honor Society of Nursing. She attended Sacred Heart University in Puerto Rico, graduating with honors with an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. Then, while working at Hospice Lifepath as RN Care coordinator, she completed with honors her Master of Science in Nursing at Miami Regional University with specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner. Zoilamis also graduated from Medical school in Camaguey of Cuba, where she specialized in Family Medicine and Pulmonology, worked for several years as a Primary Care Provider, Pulmonologist and Faculty Member at Manuel Ascunce University Hospital in her natal Camaguey City of Cuba before immigrating to the United States and restarting her career, taking the path of a Nurse Practitioner

Jorge Alejandro Aleman, ACNPC-AG is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. He attended ISCM Villa Clara in Cuba and graduated with a Medical Doctor degree. He then went to the University of del Sagrado in San Juan, PR for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He finally came to the states and studied at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing Adult-Gerontology Acute care. His background includes experience in critical care, emergency units, inpatient settings and primary care, both as a physician and a nurse. He is a member of the American Association of Critical Care nurses.  

Family Medicine

Graduated with Doctor of Medicine and diplomate in Intensive Care from the Universidad de Ciencias Medicas de Villa Clara, Cuba in 2011.

In the United States, he has graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner program from the Miami Regional University. He is nationally certified and Florida State-Licensed Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with extensive clinical experience in Cardiology. Manuel has taken care of the geriatric population since 2019; and he is currently a Cardiovascular (CV) Team member of The American College of Cardiology. Manuel has excellent communication skills and a proven patient satisfaction record. He speaks both English and Spanish Fluently.

 Karen Herrera Garcia, PA-C graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. She received the following awards and recognition: Summa Cum Laude, President’s Honor List, Dean’s List and acceptance in the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Karen continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University and graduated with a Masters of Medical Science: Physician Assistant. This talented bilingual Board-Certified Physician Assistant brings compassion and knowledge to patient care.

 Dr. Cardona attended Medical School at Centro de Estudio Universitarios Xochicalco in Baja California, Ensenada, Mexico. There she completed her Social Services. She continued her Internship at Hospital Episcopal San Lucas Guayama Puerto Rico where she was Chief of Interns and later Internship Coordinator. She started her career as a General Physician at this Hospital. There she also specialized in Wound Care and was the General Physician for the Surgical Department. She was a PCP at a private practice in Orlando Florida for the last 8 years.

Dr Cardona has more than 15 years of Primary Care experienced. She has professional affiliations with the National Alliance of Wound Care, El Colegio de Medicos Cirujanos de Puerto Rico and the Oficina de Regulación y Certificación de Profesionales de la Salud (ORCPS). Dr Cardona is highly motivated, dedicated and clinically competent General Physician Practitioner with experience caring for patients from a range of cultural backgrounds. She is committed to pursuing a role in which she can help patients maintain their health and quality of life. She treats her patients like family.

 Graduated with a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Medical Sciences of Pinar Del Rio, Cuba in 2013. In the United States, he has graduated with his Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from Miami Regional University in 2023 with significant clinical experience in Primary Care. He also maintains certifications in Medical Coding for the past 7 years. Prior to coming to the United States, Adrian was Head Physician in Venezuela from 2015-2016 and he was also Head Physician in Cuba from 2013-2015. He is both fluent in English and Spanish and has a real passion for helping others.
