Revello Medical and Wellness is a family owned and operated medical practice founded in 1992 by Raul Revello MD and Patti Revello. Over the years our practice has had a primary focus to always keep our patients needs first.

The vision of Revello Medical has always been to set our practice apart from the rest and that starts from the moment you enter through the door. We are not your typical medical practice, upon arriving our patients feel the warmth and familiarity from our front office staff and that continue all the way through your visit with one of our dedicated physicians.

Raul Revello, MD

Internal Medicine

Dr. Revello was born in Panama City, Rep. of Panama Sept. 21, 1937. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Brussels in Belgium. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Gorgas Hospital, in the former Canal Zone, Republic of Panama. Afterwards, he then practiced and worked for the Panama Canal Company and the Department of Defense as a primary care physician for over 20 years with outstanding service. In 1992, along with his daughter Patti Revello, they opened their first clinic in Tampa. Dr. Revello was in private practice for more than 20 years until retiring from actively seeing patients. He was instrumental in starting Independent Physician Associations (IPA's) and was involved in managed care within the healthcare field as a Medical Director until his passing. His medical practices, the Revello Medical Centers, continue on as his legacy in the Tampa Bay area. He was a pioneer in preventive medicine offering free education to his patients, 20 years ago. He believed in integrative medicine and also was among the first to offer free care in his clinics that now offer a full range of services for his patients. He was a humanitarian, ecologist, and philanthropist who helped many esteemed and deserving organizations.

Patti Revello

Chief Executive Officer
Patti Revello, CEO and Co-Founder of Revello Medical Center graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. In 1992, along with her father Raul Revello, M.D., they opened their first clinic in Tampa. Patti has since been very active in the Healthcare community. Belonging to the Hispanic Medical Advisory Board, DPP Program, USF Hunger Alliance Program, Voces de la Gente and other pilot programs to better the health and well being of their patients. Since opening the Wellness and Activity Center in 2014 we have been able to provide a niche in the community as well as a great service to our senior population. These Wellness and Activity Centers have been implemented in our 3 clinics in Tampa. Ms. Revello is also an owner of PrimeCare, LLC an MSO which caters to affiliates in Central Florida.

Antonio Calvo, Jr.

Chief Operating Officer
Antonio serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Revello Medical. Since 2000, Revello Medical has been a life-long passion for Mr. Calvo. He is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and business management of the company. In this role, Mr. Calvo has helped establish Revello Medical as a respected medical practice in the community that consistently achieves year-to-year growth. Since opening the Wellness and Activities Centers in 2014 he has, along with his staff, been able to provide a niche in the community, as well as a great service to our senior population. Antonio serves on the Hispanic Medical Advisory Board for Humana, the USF Hunger Alliance Program, Voces de la Gente, and the Diabetic Prevention Program. He is also an active member of the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Calvo also provides consulting services to colleagues in the area and oversees a recruiting company for physicians. Antonio continues to strive for Revello Medical to be a top notch medical practice, with innovative ideas and services that are second to none.

Jose M. Garcia, MD

Medical Director
Dr. Garcia attended Medical School at Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas in Santiago de Cuba. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. Dr. Garcia has professional affiliations with the Cuban Association of Urology. In 1998, he was nominated by the National Public Health Department’s Annual Award for Best Scientific Work. He is certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Practice.

Sonia Benitez, APRN-C

Family Medicine
Sonia Benitez, APRN-C is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in health and medical care. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Honor Society of Nursing. She attended Sacred Heart University in Puerto Rico, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Then, while working at Tampa Community Hospital, she completed with honors her Master of Science in Nursing at South University with specialty in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. Sonia is also graduated from Medical school in Santiago of Cuba, where she specialized in Family Medicine and Dermatology, worked for several years as a Primary Care Provider, Dermatologist and Faculty Member at Celia Sanchez University Hospital in her natal Manzanillo City of Cuba before immigrated to United States and restarted her career, taking the path of a Nurse practitioner.
Dr Santiago

Richard D. Santiago, M.D.

Family Medicine
Dr. Santiago graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with his Bachelors of Science in Biology. He attended Medical School at Autonoma University of Guadalajara in Mexico. He completed his training in General Practice at Metropolitan Hospital in Yauco Puerto Rico. Dr. Santiago served as Medical Director for Santa Rita Hospice Care and as a Primary Care Physician at Med Centro, where he practiced preventive care in a managed healthcare setting.
